Napa Sonoma Fires

As the fires tear across Northern California, the team here at The Krush 92.5 is thinking of our fellow Californians, our friends, family and neighbors to the North, our industry partners.

Please join us in sending love and support out to those experiencing such immense loss both physically and emotionally. And, in our sincere thanks to the first responders and teams of emergency services and the relief teams and volunteers who are working so hard to fight and help in this devastating disaster.

We're keeping them close to our hearts as we see the path of destruction that Mother Nature is leaving in her wake. And, of course, we ask ourselves...what else can we do?

From right here in SLO County, we can help fund the relief efforts for so many who've been displaced and need our support. We should remember that these efforts will continue in the coming weeks, months, even years.

Locally, participating wineries in Paso Robles are donating $1 per bottle of wine sold through the end of October to the Napa/Sonoma/Mendocino charities helping those affected by these horrific fires. The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance has a list of participating wineries and full info here.

SLO Wine has a GoFundMe campaing going and various member wineries are putting benefit programs and events in place. Check it out here.

Donations can be made online with the Red Cross, you can call 1-800-RED-CROSS or text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.

There is this GoFundMe campaign started by Napa Resident, and Vineyard & Winery Owner, Jake Kloberdanz who says “This campaign is to fund recovery for people whose lives have been flipped upside down.”

SF Gate has compiled a comprehensive list of fund raising ideas and other ways to help, click here for more.
