This is the third year Central Coast Brewing has won a medal at the Great American Beer Festival, winning gold in 2015 and silver in 2016 as well. Brendan went into detail about the importance of packaging in this competition because the judges hold on to the submitted beers for five weeks before tasting them. For that reason, Brendan puts special care into the packaging of his Monterey Street American Pale Ale, hand-bottling all of them himself.
The team over at Central Coast Brewing could not be more excited about winning the gold again this year, and look forward to competing again next year. Check out their full line-up of beer at their website www.centralcoastbrewing.com
