Today on the LL, the guys takes to the folks behind the Paderewski Festival. Ignaci Paderewski was so many things, a concert pianist, winemaker, philanthropist, and more.
He signed the Treaty of Versailles , then would make wine and rest his tired hands in the hot springs of Paso Robles.
We had Kristen in from Epoch Estate Wines, who shares how Epoch owners, Bill & Liz Armstrong, went out of their way to compete the old circle of the Paderewski fruit. It now comes from the estate it did before, then makes its way back to York Mtn, as it did then when Booker brothers made the wine. Epoch is the largest supporter of the Paderewski Festival.
We also had Steve from Cass Wine in studio. He’s a huge supporter of Paderewski Fest, and he talked about the history and how his passion of the arts, and Paso, made his support feel like home.
Thanks to Marjorie , who’s the president of the Paderewski Festival for coming in, and with enthusiasm, sharing with us the passion , music, and good work this group does.
