Well, not likely, but a few bountiful harvests in California the last few years, as well as some other factors play into this. We welcomed in Paul Hoover, Owner/Winemaker of Still Waters in Paso Robles. He’s a grower and sells his wine all Direct-to-Consumer and had a lot to offer the conversation. We also talked to Andrew Nelson. His company WarRoom Ventures recently acquired the iconic California brand, Bonny Doon Vineyard, as well as owns Lapis Luna. Their mission is to create category leading wine brands. Andrew also had a lot to offer this conversation which touched on a ton of interesting dynamics. Worth a listen if you missed it.
