The Sleepy Guitar Johnson Band featuring vocalist Joy Bonner is in the Krush studio this week talking all abouit their upcoming shows this weekend at D’Anbino’s Vineyard and Cellar in Paso starting tomorrow at 7:30 and then at Four Lanterns Winery on HWY 46 West on Sunday June 16 starting at 3pm. Suzanne sits down with Joy Bonner, Denis Degher, Darrell “Monster” Voss, Doyle “Fleet Fingers” Davis and Rick Baumont to talk about the history of the band, the inspiration they gather for their songs. Denis also discusses what it was like meeting Joy and how they got togther to record the 14 songs on the album.
